오늘은 쉽지만 헷갈리는 것에 대해.
» Many vs Much «
*When you use "many" that means you are talking about something that can be counted. If you can count it (1, 2, 3) that means it is okay to use "many".
*When you use "much" that means that you are talking about something that can NOT be counted.
Simply, "many" is used to modify plural nouns, and much is used to modify singular nouns.
For example:
★ MANY- Because these nouns are countable, we write:
1. "There are many doctors."
2. "Many stars are in the sky tonight."
3. "I did many things today."
★ MUCH- because these nouns aren’t countable (in their main senses).
1. "He has so much knowledge."
2. "There is too much light"
3. "I love you so much."
